Vegetables in a large saucepan, sauté in oil until golden; add the spices and crumbled JUMBO Beef cube, stir, cover with water and leave to cook for 20 minutes. Add the chickpeas (drained) and continue to cook until the meat and vegetables are tender.
Separately, stir-fry the onion (cut into rings) until soft, then add the cinnamon, saffron, raisins, sugar and a little water. Cook on a low heat for 15 minutes.
Finally, prepare the quick couscous: Sauté the couscous in melted butter and remove from the heat. Heat the broth prepared with the JUMBO Jumbo cube and add the same quantity of broth as couscous, stir and cover. Leave to sit for 10 minutes and before serving, add another knob of butter and break in the semolina. To serve: place the semolina in the centre, with the meat and vegetables (without broth) on top and cover with the onion rings and raisins. Serve the vegetable broth in a jug for self-serving.
